What is alnovat?

Alnovat is a cream for daily, external treatment of mild and moderate Psoriasis.

Can alnovat be used for all types of psoriasis?

Yes, Alnovat was developed as a treatment for mild and moderate psoriasis. The efficacy of the cream for severe psoriasis has not yet been clinically examined. In severe cases, it may be possible to use the cream as a concomitant treatment. Ask your physician about this.

Can I use alnovat for treating children?

Currently no data are available on the treatment of children and adolescents. It is recommended to consult a pediatrician about the limitations and incompatibilities.

What do I need to be aware of when using alnovat?

It is not essential to do any special preparation of the skin being treated (scale removal), the skin just needs to be clean. After applying the cream, it is best to wait a short while before getting dressed to ensure the cream is properly absorbed. There is no need to use skin care products on the skin treated with Alnovat.

What is the shelf life of alnovat?

Alnovat has a shelf life of 3 years. After opening, Alnovat should be used within 3 months.

When will I see and feel the first results after using alnovat?

Everyone’s skin is different. Visible and tangible results vary from person to person. An improvement can usually be seen or felt within 14 days, if Alnovat is used daily.

No, our Alnovat psoriasis cream is free from cortisone and other pharmacological active ingredients.
